Peter Kimingi

Peter is a seasoned nonprofit finance executive with over 20 years of experience in financial and operations management, including 15 years in senior leadership roles within South Africa’s nonprofit sector. A qualified Chartered Accountant (SA), Certified Public Accountant (Kenya) and MBA graduate, he has successfully managed over R3 billion in grant funding for high-impact organisations.

Peter brings deep expertise in designing and implementing financial and operational systems that support sustainable growth and scalability in the nonprofit sector. His leadership track record includes key roles at prominent institutions such as Afrika Tikkun, African Leadership Academy (ALA) and National Education Collaboration Trust (NECT).

At Nonprofits Consulting Hub (NCH), Peter drives the organisation’s strategy and growth, championing its mission to empower nonprofits through expert financial stewardship, operational excellence and scalable system design.

Matilda Dibakwane

Matilda is a seasoned finance and strategy professional with over 20 years of experience across corporate and nonprofit sectors. She began her career in finance roles at leading corporates such as Total SA and AfriSam, building a strong foundation in operational excellence and financial management. Over the past decade, she has held leadership positions at mission-driven organisations including Hope Worldwide and African Leadership Academy, applying her skills to the nonprofit space.

Currently an MBA candidate at Wits Business School, Matilda blends financial expertise with strategic and operational insight. Her strengths include financial strategy, performance analysis, budgeting, reporting, and building systems that support sustainable growth.

She serves on the boards of several startups and a nonprofit, and is passionate about creating resilient organisations anchored in financial clarity, operational efficiency, and strong leadership.

As Co-founder and Principal at Nonprofits Consulting Hub, Matilda leads the team that supports nonprofits and social enterprises with customised financial solutions, strategic guidance and operational best practices to scale their impact.

Tinacho Chitongo

Tinacho is a donor engagement strategist with over a decade of experience driving resource mobilization for high-impact nonprofits. With a background in institutional advancement and partnerships, he has led teams that have secured and stewarded multi-million-dollar grants from philanthropic foundations, bilateral donors, and the private sector.

Prior to joining Nonprofits Consulting Hub (NCH), Tinacho held senior leadership roles at African Leadership Academy and the Education Outcomes Fund, where he spearheaded grant management practices that aligned financial, programmatic and operational goals.

At NCH, Tinacho leads Grant Management Services, which equips nonprofits with the tools and strategies to strengthen funder relationships, improve grant stewardship, and meet governance-level reporting expectations. His team supports clients through expert proposal development, high-quality donor reporting and the design of scalable fundraising operational practices that drive long-term sustainability.

Tinacho is passionate about building the fundraising capacity of mission-driven organizations in order to unlock greater impact at scale.
